Sam Passer was elected to the City Council in November 2021.
He currently works as Vice President of Client Experience for Touchnet in Lenexa, focusing on partnering with over 1000 colleges and universities across the world to provide technical support, account management and onboard new clients.
Passer received his B.A. in history and political science from Drake University in 1995 and is an accomplished business professional who has been recognized for his achievements by Ingrams Magazine, the Kansas City Business Journal and through a patent from the US government for creating an innovative offering.
Passer and his wife, Cori, who is a physician, have been residents of Overland Park since 2004. Their two children, Harper and Murray are students in the Blue Valley School District.
Passer is a graduate of Leadership Overland Park and served on the Kansas Historic Sites Board of Review from 2014 through 2016.
