Overland Park has five outdoor pools. The indoor pools at Matt Ross Community Center are open year-round.
Pool hours and availability will be based on the public health situation at the time. Pools must have adequate staffing of fully-trained lifeguards to operate. Apply online to be a lifeguard.
Young’s Pool will close for the season on Aug. 1 to prepare for renovations to the pool house, locker rooms and concession building.
Stonegate Pool will remain open, noon-7 p.m. daily through Aug. 15.
Tomahawk Ridge Aquatic Center will remain open, noon-7 p.m. daily through Aug. 15. Beginning Aug. 16, Tomahawk Ridge Aquatic Center will operate late summer pool hours from 4-7 p.m. weekdays and noon-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tomahawk Ridge Aquatic Center is open through Sept. 6.
Concession stands will not be open this year. Guests may bring snacks and drinks. Alcohol and glass are not allowed.
