Bluejacket Pool

Update

After 51 years of service, Bluejacket Pool will permanently close on August 6, 2024. The pool has reached the end of its useful life, as outlined in the Overland Park Parks and Recreation Master Plan. 

We are sad to say goodbye to our beloved pool, but we are excited to see what the future holds! The community will be involved as planning takes place for the park space in 2025-2026.

In the meantime, we invite you to join us for a Final Splash Bash at Bluejacket Pool on Tuesday, August 6 from 5-7 p.m. This special celebration to honor the pool’s legacy will feature pool games, music, treats and more. Admission will be free.

A 25-meter lap lane is available from 5:30-8 p.m. upon request.
