To prevent the spread of coronavirus in our community, Johnson County Government has ordered residents to stay at home except for essential needs, beginning Tuesday, March 24 for 30 days.
People with disabilities and their families can enjoy City pools before they are open to the public, during special swim events.
Lifeguards are on duty and staff will be in the water to assist with swimmers’ needs and provide support.
During the summer, special swims are outdoors on Saturday mornings at Tomahawk Ridge Aquatic Center. During the school year, they are indoors on Sunday mornings at Matt Ross Community Center.
Admission to special swim at the outdoor pools is $6 per Overland Park resident and $7 per non-resident. One caretaker is admitted with each swimmer, free of charge.
Admission to special swim at the indoor pools is $7 per swimmer.
Matt Ross Community Center memberships and annual pool pass memberships are valid for special swim admission.
