Council Member Amy Antrim was elected to the Overland Park City Council in November 2025. Antrim and her husband first moved to Overland Park in 2006.
Antrim brings more than two decades of real estate, community engagement and client advocacy experience to her service on the Overland Park City Council. Her career centered on helping individuals and families establish strong foundations, giving her a deep understanding of how development, housing and long-term planning influence the quality of life in Overland Park.
For over 20 years, Antrim has worked closely with local builders, developers and homeowners, guiding clients through periods of growth, market challenges and economic transition. Her work provided her with firsthand insight into how development decisions shape neighborhoods and the broader community—informing her commitment to thoughtful, balanced and resident-focused growth.
Before entering real estate, Antrim served as a Case Worker supporting adults with severe and persistent mental illness. That experience strengthened her dedication to advocating for vulnerable populations and continues to guide her emphasis on policies that support stability, opportunity and well-being for all residents.
Antrim is deeply involved in community service and volunteer leadership throughout Johnson County and the region. She volunteered with the American Red Cross, served in three Blue Valley School District PTOs and was a Building Better Moms table leader. Within the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS®, she served on the Professional Standards Committee, Mediation Committee, Professional Development Committee, Kansas Advocacy Committee and the Citation Committee—reflecting her commitment to professionalism and ethical practice within her industry.
Antrim holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a business minor and an emphasis in Industrial and organizational psychology from Kansas State University.
She and her husband make their home in Overland Park Ward 4, where they are raising their two children, who attend Blue Valley schools.
