Coronavirus Affects City Services

To prevent the spread of coronavirus in our community, Johnson County Government has ordered residents to stay at home except for essential needs, beginning Tuesday, March 24 for 30 days.

The Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, Recycling Center, and playgrounds and shelters at City parks are closed, and many other City services are affected by this order.

Groups + Tours

Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead welcomes groups of all sizes.

Large Group Reservations

In order to have appropriate staffing, we request that groups complete a group reservation form to let us know how many are in your group and your arrival date and time.

Large group reservations are not scheduled or guided tours. Farmstead admission fees apply for all people attending large group reservations.

Forms for Large Groups

The group reservation request form is available beginning in February before the Farmstead opens for the season in April.

Pumpkin Hollow

Large groups that would like to attend Pumpkin Hollow, the Farmstead’s fall celebration, should fill out the registration form to let us know you’re coming. Groups may be split into smaller sections.

The Farmstead offers two tour packages, for groups of 10 guests or more.

There is a $10 permit fee for tours.  Please note that all tour packages must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

Build your own Farmstead tour invoice, then call 913-895-6390 to make a reservation.

Fees are refundable only due to inclement weather.
