During normal operations, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead welcomes groups of all sizes. Please find more information about groups and tours for normal operations below.

The Farmstead welcomes large groups.
In order to have appropriate staffing, we request that groups complete a group reservation form to let us know how many are in your group and your arrival date and time.
Large group reservations are not scheduled or guided tours. Farmstead admission fees apply for all people attending large group reservations.
The group reservation request form is available beginning in February before the Farmstead opens for the season in April.
Learn about Kansas animals on a guided tour of the Farmstead. Farm tours are great for all ages and can be scheduled for classes, youth groups, neighborhood play groups, family reunions and more.

Tours are available Monday through Friday at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and take approximately 2.5 hours. Tour groups are welcome to explore the rest of the Farmstead before or after their reservation.
Each farm tour reservation can accommodate 10-35 guests. This includes teachers, chaperones, parents, siblings and others.
Farm tours are $7 per person age one and over.
Everyone who attends with your group, including chaperones, parents, siblings and others must pay for a tour.
Learn about Kansas history on a guided tour of the farmstead. History tours are perfect for school groups and are intended for visitors age six and older.

Tours are available Monday through Thursday at 9:15 a.m. and take approximately three hours. Tour groups are welcome to explore the rest of the Farmstead before or after their reservation.
Each history tour reservation can accommodate 10-30 guests. This includes teachers, chaperones, parents, siblings and others.
History tours are $7 per person.

Large groups that would like to attend Pumpkin Hollow in 2021, the Farmstead’s fall celebration, should fill out the registration form to let us know you’re coming.
