The Independence Day holiday will affect hours at the following City facilities:
Recycling Center
The Recycling Center will close at noon on Friday, July 3. It will be closed Saturday, July 4.
The Recycling Center will reopen Tuesday, July 8.
City Hall
City Hall will be closed Friday, July 3. It will reopen Monday, July 6.
Community Centers
Matt Ross Community Center and Tomahawk Ridge Community Center will be closed all day, Saturday, July 4.
They will reopen with temporary operating hours on Sunday, July 5.
Star Spangled Spectacular
Overland Park’s annual July 4 celebration, the Star Spangled Spectacular will take place in 2020 as a fireworks-only event at Corporate Woods Founders’ Park.
