Overland Park Star Spangled Spectacular

Weather Update – July 4, 2024

Due to flooding in Indian Creek, extremely muddy conditions in the park and the threat of more weather in the forecast, the Overland Park Star Spangled Spectacular scheduled for Thursday, July 4, is canceled.

The fireworks show will now occur on Friday, July 5 at 10 p.m.

Please find a spot near Corporate Woods Founders’ Park to watch the Friday fireworks in safe areas like parking lots and paved paths, and avoid wet, potentially dangerous areas. Unfortunately, originally scheduled bands and food trucks will not be present on Friday. Thank you for understanding.

Event Details

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food, water, and coolers. There will be water available or sale but no other vendors providing food on July 5.

Dogs are allowed but must remain on a leash at all times.

Alcohol and pop-up tents are prohibited.
