Police Department Internships

The Overland Park Police Department internship program is designed to allow college students an opportunity to observe police department operations, learn more about the law enforcement environment and be mentored by trained professionals.  In addition, interns will learn about and participate in the various police department functions.

The internship is full-time (40 hours per week) from June 3 to July 26, 2024. The internship pays $15 per hour.

The 2024 summer internship has been filled. We will begin accepting applications for the next program in early 2025.
