Arboretum Rental Spaces

The Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is a lovely place for an outdoor wedding, corporate gathering or a family picnic.

Reservations may be made up to 12 months in advance. Please review the City’s refund policy before reserving any space.

The Arboretum offers the following types and spaces for rent:

Wedding Rental Spaces

Wedding rental fees include admission for as many guests as the capacity of the area reserved, and:

  • Use of the Environmental Education and Visitors Center conference room for dressing.
  • Use of the Environmental Education and Visitors Center sunroom as a gathering space.
  • A volunteer liaison to assist with the event.

Photo permits are not required for weddings during the rental time.

Lakeside Ampitheater

Capacity: 125 people

Pricing: $935 for first two hours, $200 each additional hour

Arboretum Pavilion

Capacity: 50 people

Pricing: $450 for first two hours, $35 each additional hour

Cohen Iris Garden

Capacity: 15 people

Arboretum Pavilion

Pricing: $75 first hour, $35 each additional hour

Pricing: $195 for first hour, $150 each additional hour

Haake Celebration Terrace

After-Hours Rentals

After hours rentals must be approved by the director of parks services and will be subject to staff availability and to a two-hour minimum use charge.

Environmental Education Visitors Center

After-hours reservations include the sun room, conference room, and classroom.

Capacity: 125 people

Pricing: $250 per hour
