Plan Your Park

The City decommissioned Marty Pool at the end of the 2022 outdoor pool season. Following the closure of Marty Pool, the City began the process of redesigning Marty Park in its place. To gather community feedback on park amenities, the City held its first Plan Your Park meeting on September 13, 2022.

The City reconstructed Fire Station 41 near Marty Park, located at the original Marty Pool site. With the reconstructed Fire Station 41 now open, community engagement for the park has resumed. A steering committee continues to meet monthly to guide the project. A community meeting was held in June of 2024, where participants chose their favorite park amenities. Additional Plan Your Park meetings are scheduled for July and August 2024. We encourage everyone to be a part of this exciting transformation.

Construction is set to begin in late 2025.

Marty Park Design Concept

Based on community feedback, recommendations for the Marty Park redesign include key features such as a splash pad, hammock grove, pollinator garden and shade structures. These plans are designed to enhance community engagement and enjoyment. We invite you to review them before joining us at our next community meeting on August 19.
