Description
Please join the City of Overland Park for a dedication ceremony and celebration of the new
Thompson Park.
Remarks from the performance stage will begin at 5:30 p.m., featuring
Mayor Carl Gerlach and Donor Frank Thompson.
Live music from the performance stage, featuring
Green Shoe Box Band, will begin at approximately 6 p.m.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from food trucks on site, including
Kona Ice, the
Hungry Hatch, and the
Cotton Candy Man.
Snack Shack on Santa Fe and other
Downtown Overland Park restaurants will be open.
