Park Overview
Sapling Grove Park is a 20-acre neighborhood park with amenities that make it a great place to visit or gather, and access to Comanche Elementary School next door and nearby neighborhoods.

Historical feature
Sapling Grove Park features several historical informational panels, created in conjunction with the National Park Service and the Kansas City Area Historical Trails Association, that tell the history of the area.

Restrooms at this park are open year-round. Winter hours are Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.- 3 p.m., closed Sat.-Sun.

Splash pad
Splash pads are free to use and are open May 1-Sept. 30 between 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Splash pads may occasionally be closed for weather or maintenance.
Activate the fountains using a bare hand on the pad next to the splash pad area.
