Maple Hills Park

Park Overview

Maple Hills Park is a 9.2-acre neighborhood park nestled in the Stonehedge and Farley view neighborhoods, and provides plenty of open space. The park transformed into a hub of fun and sustainability in 2024. The City installed a brand-new playground, added two pickleball courts and upgraded the park with a solar-powered shelter and restroom. The new parking lot now boasts electric vehicle charging stations and the landscaping shines with drought-tolerant plants that are as beautiful as they are water-smart.

We are proud to report that these thoughtful and innovative improvements have earned Maple Hills Park a 2024 American Institute of Architects Kansas City Design Excellence Award.

You’re invited to a Rededication Ceremony for Maple Hills Park on Monday, April 21, 2025 from noon to 2 p.m. to celebrate the park’s new upgrades.
