Get out and explore Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead and the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens as destinations in the 2025 Kansas Tourism Sunflower Summer program!

The Sunflower Summer program offers free admission for eligible Kansas families to adventure out to different museums, nature centers and historical attractions throughout the state. Families can claim free tickets to participating venues on the Sunflower Summer app from July 12 to August 3.

Here’s what to know to take advantage of Sunflower Summer in Overland Park:

  • Sunflower Summer is a free program for Kansas residents only. 
  • The program offers free admission to participating attractions across the state for students from Pre-K through 12th grade. 
  • One free adult ticket can be claimed per transaction with the student.
  • Tickets are valid once per attraction, per season.
  • The Sunflower Summer app is available for download on Apple or Android devices.
