A new online ticketing option for the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens launches Wednesday, Sept. 6. Visitors can skip the line when they arrive at the Arboretum by purchasing tickets online in advance.
To purchase tickets online:
- Visit opkansas.org/arboretum
- Select “Arboretum Tickets”
- Choose the date of your visit and the number of tickets needed
- Provide payment information
Tickets are delivered straight to your email inbox along with your order confirmation. When you arrive at the Arboretum, head straight to the main entrance to present your mobile tickets.
You can also purchase annual memberships online. Friends of the Arboretum members will need to verify their membership online before reserving tickets.
Friends of the Arboretum memberships provide free admission to the Arboretum, plus:
- Preview night access to the spring plant sale,
- Discounts on classes offered at the Arboretum,
- Annual Friends of the Arboretum social event invitations,

- Reciprocal admission to other American Horticultural Society gardens, arboreta and more.
