When winter weather arrives, residents now have access to more accurate and timely information about snow removal operations across the city!
The new Snow Operations Map offers updates before, during and immediately following winter storms, helping residents stay informed and plan their travel with confidence.
Residents can search their address or navigate directly on the map to see the most up-to-date information for their area.
Viewing Options
- Time Map: Shows how long it has been since a snowplow last serviced each street.
- Route Status Map: Displays the current plowing and treatment status for individual routes.
While viewing the Route Status Map, residents may occasionally see a route marked as complete during snow crew shift changes. Rest assured, another crew member will return shortly to complete any remaining streets within that route.
A panel on the left side of the map provides additional details about the City’s snow removal process and information specific to each winter weather event. Timely updates and important messages will also appear as ticker notifications across the top of the map.

Name our snowplows
Do you have a creative, bold or funny idea for a snowplow name?
Submit your name ideas by Dec. 1, using the submission form.
Our snow crews will select their favorite names from the list for their vehicle. Chosen names will then be added to plows on the new Snow Operations Map this snow season, so you can track a plow with a name you helped select!
