Join T-Mobile, Black & Veatch and the City of Overland Park in honoring local heroes at a Veterans Day Celebration at the Black & Veatch Campus, 11401 Lamar Ave., on November 9 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Ahead of the federal holiday, the City’s Veterans Day celebration is a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who dedicated their lives to serving our nation. It’s an opportunity to come together as a community, express our gratitude, and learn more about the sacrifices our veterans have made.
See, learn about and tour helicopters and military equipment. Veteran-friendly support organizations will share information with veterans and their families and the Overland Park Police Department and Fire Department will be on-hand to visit with residents and share information about their important roles in the community.
