Don’t toss it—transform it!
In partnership with Re.Use.Full, the Repair Café gives you the opportunity to fix damaged items for free, thanks to a team of skilled volunteers, giving your things a second chance and keeping them out of landfills.
Join us on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tomahawk Ridge Community Center, 11902 Lowell Ave. Whether it’s a wobbly chair or a wonky laptop, our team of expert volunteers is ready to help you turn “trash” back into treasure.
What can you fix?
- Electronics and computers
- Bikes
- Clothing and jewelry
- Lamps
- Small appliances and more!
To ensure everyone gets a helping hand, attendees may bring one item per category, with a maximum of three items total.
Swap your style and share a story
- Clothing Swap: Bring your gently used apparel to trade with neighbors for a sustainable way to update your closet and reduce textile waste.
- Book Collection: The Friends of Johnson County Library will be on-site to collect book donations. Your pre-loved books help support local library programming and keep our community reading.
Take advantage of the chance to reuse your items and reduce waste in our community! Learn more about Repair Café at reusefull.org.
