City offices and facilities will be closed on January 15 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day to honor the life and contributions of the civil rights leader. Please plan around closures at the following facilities:
Closed Monday, January 15
- City Hall, 8500 Santa Fe Dr.
- Sanders Justice Center, 12300 Foster St.
- Recycling Center, 11921 Hardy St. (Also closed Saturday, January 13)
Matt Ross Community Center, Tomahawk Ridge Community Center and the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens will operate normal hours on Jan. 15.
While City offices are closed, residents can access information and services, pay fees or report issues using the City’s online platforms.
