The westbound I-435 to southbound U.S. 69 ramp will fully close to traffic from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, May 15-20, for retaining wall demolition.
Additionally, the northbound U.S. 69 to eastbound I-435 ramp will close on May 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for temporary striping, barrier wall placement and overhead sign removal
The Kansas Department of Transportation’s project will build a new express toll lane in each direction adjacent to the existing general-purpose lanes to increase safety and improve congestion in the area.
