69Express: Ramp closures along U.S. 69

Drivers should plan for several ramp closures along U.S. 69 as construction on the 69Express project continues.

The southbound U.S. 69 to 95th Street off ramp will fully close to traffic between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 14-18 for overhead sign construction as part of the 69Express project. 

The westbound college to eastbound I-435 ramp and the northbound U.S. 69 to eastbound I-435 ramp will fully close to traffic for paving from 5 p.m. on Aug. 17 to 6 a.m. on Aug. 18 and from 7 p.m. on Aug. 18 to 6 a.m. on Aug. 19.

The Kansas Department of Transportation’s project will build a new express toll lane in each direction adjacent to the existing general-purpose lanes to increase safety and improve congestion in the area.
