Walk and Read at Thompson Park

Get ready for an outdoor adventure that’s part storytime, part exercise and full-on fun when Thompson Park transforms into a storybook trail featuring “Wild Blue” and “Everyone Can Learn to Ride a Bicycle.” Bring the whole family to read page-by-page as you walk through the park, soaking up the fresh air, enjoying movement and maybe even feeling inspired to hop on a bike yourself. It’s the perfect way to mix reading, your step count and family time. The paths are stroller and wheelchair friendly. Presented in partnership with Johnson County Library.
