Please join the City of Overland Park and the Incremental Development Alliance to learn more about how small-scale development can provide more housing options in Overland Park. This is a followup event to an August 2019 lecture featuring Matthew Petty, founding member of the Incremental Development Alliance. The initial lecture was an introduction to small scale development. After several workshops learning about properties in and testing concepts for Overland Park, Petty and staff from the Alliance will share their insights about potential small-scale development options that could provide additional housing choice in our community. The City engaged with Incremental Development Alliance as an early potential step to implementing goals of Forward OP. The community vision, developed from the ideas of hundreds of residents and members of the business community, highlights a need for providing a wider range of housing options in Overland Park. All are welcome to attend this discussion and learn more about the findings as they relate to Overland Park. There will be a presentation and opportunity to ask questions. This event will take place in the Crown Room.
