Description

A new public park is on the way to south Overland Park at 159th and Quivira named in honor of our sister city in Germany, Bietigheim-Bissingen. A Plan Your Park meeting will be held on Monday, May 15 at Blue Valley Library located at 9000 W. 151st St. between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Two park designs will be presented, and Parks and Recreation staff will be available to answer questions and collect feedback. Construction for this park is scheduled to begin in 2024.
