Working under the direction of the City Manager and in conjunction with the Governing Body, the communications division serves as the central point of contact for city communications and information.

The communications division is responsible for:

  • Public information
  • Emergency communications
  • Media relations
  • All city-wide communications, including
    • Overview, the resident newsletter
    • City Source and agenda notification e-newsletters
    • City website
    • City social media channels
  • The city’s logo and branding
  • Speeches and talking points
  • Internal communications
  • Event promotion
  • Mailroom operations
  • City Hall switchboard operations
