U.S. 69 between 119th Street and Blue Valley Parkway will close for overhead sign installation overnight on Wednesday, Aug. 27. Southbound U.S. 69 will close at 7 p.m., followed by the northbound lanes at 9 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28.
Southbound U.S. 69 between 119th Street and Blue Valley Parkway will fully close again at 7 p.m. on Aug. 28 and reopen by 6 a.m. on Aug. 29. Detours will be marked.
The Kansas Department of Transportation’s project will construct a new express toll lane in each direction, adjacent to the existing general-purpose lanes, to enhance safety and alleviate congestion in the area.
