Clock Tower Landing, the City’s new Farmers’ Market and Downtown Gathering Space, is on track to open in summer 2026! This project will transform the area into a vibrant community hub, blending modern amenities with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.
Crews are making remarkable progress, recently completing the clock tower restoration and pouring concrete footings and foundations for the pavilion’s lower level. Crews also completed the south retaining wall and are now building vertical steel for the north face of the market structure. Work on the upper-level decking for the outdoor space is also underway, creating a fantastic new area for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond the main structure, crews are working on essential infrastructure, including storm sewer excavation, removing overhead powerlines and connecting utilities for the pavilion’s restrooms and storage facilities. They already completed utility transfers to surrounding businesses, minimizing any disruption.
Sustainability is a top priority for the City and the Farmers’ Market. The market will feature solar panels on the pavilion roof, electric vehicle charging stations and LED lighting to reduce energy use. Pavement colors and solar shade structures will keep the outdoor space cooler. The new space will also incorporate native landscaping, recycling and composting options.
When complete, Clock Tower Landing will provide new indoor spaces for our Farmers’ Market vendors and shoppers, along with permanent outdoor shade, enhanced seating and expanded restroom access. This new destination will continue to offer parking on non-market days and will serve as a welcoming gathering place for concerts, watch parties and other exciting public events.
