Flock to the Farmstead for Georgia’s Chicken Run

Join us for the 25th Annual Georgia’s Chicken Run on Saturday, July 26 at Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead!

Check-in for the little chicks begins at 7 a.m., and races through the Farmstead start at 8 a.m.

Runners can participate in three different broods:

  • Baby Walk (ages 2 and under)
  • ⅛ Mile Course (Groups of Age 3 and Age 4)
  • ¼ Mile Course (Groups of Age 5, Age 6, Ages 7-8, Ages 9-10, Ages 11-12, Ages 13+)

Chicken trophies will be awarded to the top three runners in the one-eighth and one-fourth mile courses. 

Register online for Georgia’s Chicken Run on the Arts & Recreation Foundation of Overland Park’s website. Day-of registration will also be available on-site. Registration is required for runners ages three and up. 

Each registered runner will receive a medal and a t-shirt. T-shirts are not guaranteed for day-of registrants, but will be available while supplies last.
