The northbound U.S. 69 to College Boulevard ramp closed to traffic May 18 for drainage structure installation and ramp reconstruction as part of the 69Express project. Detours will be marked, and the ramp is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. Friday, May 30.Â
The Kansas Department of Transportation’s project will build a new express toll lane in each direction adjacent to the existing general-purpose lanes to increase safety and improve congestion in the area.
