Legacy of Greenery Committee

The Legacy of Greenery Committee develops strategies to increase, preserve and enhance the city’s tree canopy by promoting, planting and maintaining trees and shrubs in the city.

The committee:

  • Recognizes businesses and organizations with outstanding landscaping,
  • Supports the City forester with programs and events for Tree City USA status,
  • Educates the community about proper planting and maintenance of trees, shrubs, flowers and turf
  • Assists with review and updates to the City’s list of approved street trees, and more.
