Description
A new public park is on the way to south Overland Park at 159th and Quivira named in honor of our sister city in Germany, Bietigheim-Bissingen.
A Plan Your Park meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 14 at the Johnson County Library-Blue Valley Branch, located at 9000 W. 151st St., from 6-8 p.m. Parks and Recreation staff will introduce the final plan for the new park and provide information on the decision-making process as well as answer any questions.
Construction for this park is scheduled to begin in 2024.
