Music in the Park

Music in the ParkThe City of Overland Park offers a variety of outdoor evening concerts to add to your summer enjoyment.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair. 

All Music in the Park concerts are free of charge. 

If inclement weather forces a concert to be canceled, the event will not be rescheduled.

Upcoming Events

Sunday concerts feature the Overland Park Civic Band, a classic city band comprised entirely of volunteers. The Overland Park Civic Band has been wowing audiences for more than 75 years with their stirring marches, Broadway musical scores and branch of service themes.

Friday concerts feature a variety of local performers and is presented in cooperation with the Downtown Overland Park Partnership.

Music in the Park

at Santa Fe Commons Park, 81st and Santa Fe Drive. Bring your lawn chair or blanket. Picnics, large groups and leashed dogs are welcome. Alcohol prohibited.

Sundays from 7 to 8 p.m. June 1 - July 2 featuring the Overland Park Civic Band


Fridays at 7:30 p.m.  in cooperation with the third Friday - Local Life Night, Downtown Overland Park.

June 16 showcases the Hudson Drive Band (Country Music - pictured at right) with KC Concessions to sell food and drink.

July 21 features the Ernest James Zydeco (Cajun Zydeco) with the Cajun Cabin Food Truck to sell food and drink.

Aug. 18 presents the Funk Syndicate (Rock Music)

Park Regulations

Bring the whole family!

The family dog may join you at the Music in the Park provided they are kept on a leash and other applicable animal control ordinances are followed.

Alcohol is prohibited in all city parks.
