The Resource Request Form must be used to request reservation of meeting locations, guest speakers and equipment. Neighborhood Conservation Program staff will not make reservations without a completed Resource Request Form.
Room reservations: The Administrative Assistant will make room reservations for all groups wishing to meeting in a public school or city facility. The city facilities available include the community centers, parks, Myron E. Scafe Building, and City Hall.
Any group wishing to hold a meeting in a church or other religious institution can request the Senior Program Administrative Assistant coordinate the first meeting. After the first meeting, the group is responsible for coordinating meeting times with the facility.
Guest speakers: The Neighborhood Planner will contact potential guest speakers that are employed by the City of Overland Park. The neighborhood contact person will be notified upon confirmation of availability. The Neighborhood Conservation Program cannot guarantee the speaker's availability.
The neighborhood group should coordinate guest speakers from other agencies or organizations.
Equipment: The Neighborhood Planner will make equipment reservations available. The neighborhood contact person will be notified upon confirmation of equipment availability. The Neighborhood Conservation Program cannot guarantee the availability of equipment requested.
The neighborhood group should coordinate needed equipment that is not available from the city.
