Potholes and Pavement Repairs

The city maintains more than 2,000 lane miles of street pavement and annually patches thousands of potholes.Street repair patching holes

Routine street maintenance reduces the demand for repairs. Scheduled maintenance programs include crack seal, microsurfacing and chip seal, slurry seal, and mill and overlay.

When pavement problems such as potholes are reported, major thoroughfares are given the highest priority and generally are repaired within two to three working days.

The average response time on residential streets is three to five working days.

To report a pothole or pavement problem, submit a help request through OPCares, the city's online customer service system, with a description, location and any other pertinent information, or call 913-327-6600.
