The search is on for Overland Park’s most-spirited holiday home

The City is looking for Overland Park’s most-spirited holiday home!

Overland Park residents, submit a photo of the outside of your home decorated for the holidays, to be considered for the Most-Spirited Holiday Home contest. It could be lights, garland, wreaths, inflatables, or other decorations, on your porch, driveway, deck, or yard.

We’ll share the submitted photos to the City of Overland Park Facebook page, where followers will be encouraged to vote for their favorite holiday home by liking a photo. The photo with the most likes will be Overland Park’s Most-Spirited Holiday Home, so encourage others to participate and vote by sharing your favorite holiday home.

The winning home will be featured on the City of Overland Park Facebook page. Winners will receive a family pack (as many as six) of day passes to Matt Ross Community Center, a sign for the winning yard, and bragging rights that extend through the New Year.

Entry Map

This year, we’ve provided a map of the 2019 submissions for the Most Spirited Holiday Home contest. Residents can opt-in to have their homes included on the map, and therefore share their lights displays with the public.

Submit Your Home

To compete, submit one photo of your home using this form. The City will accept entries through 5 p.m. on Monday, December 16, and entries will be posted to the Most-Spirited Holiday Home Facebook album as they are received. Voting will end at noon on Thursday, December 19. Overland Park’s Most-Spirited Holiday Home will be announced on the city’s Facebook page after the voting closes.

Happy holidays, and happy decorating!
