Warmer days are on the way, and the early opening of the 2025 Stormwater Cost Share Program means you can start planning your spring and summer projects now!
The City’s Stormwater Cost Share Program, Contain the Rain, encourages residents and business owners to incorporate stormwater management strategies that capture, slow down or soak up stormwater, reducing runoff and improving water quality. As part of the program, the City helps cover materials and labor costs for projects that reduce runoff and improve water quality.
Eligible projects include:
- Rain and pollinator gardens
- Rain barrels
- Native tree plantings
- Permeable pavement
- Soil restoration and more!
After applying, please wait for email confirmation and approval before beginning your project. Once your project is complete, City staff will ask you to share before and after photos of your project and any receipts before receiving reimbursement funds.
Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to Public Works Department approval. The Stormwater Cost Share application is open until October 31, or until all funds are allocated. Approved projects must be completed and submitted by November 15.
