Overland Park Drive-Thru Farmers’ Market to open as essential food source

The Overland Park Drive-Thru Farmers’ Market will open April 25 at the parking lot of the Overland Park Convention Center.

A drive-thru format will provide minimal to no-contact shopping, minimizing the risk of spreading coronavirus to vendors and customers. Vehicles will follow a one-way path through the parking lot to the north of the convention center.

Shoppers will be encouraged to pre-order items with vendors and pay using contact-free options.

There will be no entertainment, activities or merchandise for sale.

Gathering in groups will not be allowed and shoppers must stay in their vehicles.
