Mayor Gerlach encourages masks in Overland Park

It’s a state requirement, can help keep our community moving forward, and is one of the simplest ways to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Now, Overland Park Mayor Carl Gerlach encourages you to wear a mask.

On July 3, Governor Laura Kelly issued Kansas Executive Order 20-52, which requires everyone to wear masks when they are in indoor public places, or outdoors when they are unable to maintain six feet of distance from those not in their household.

Wearing a mask, in addition to social distancing, washing your hands, and staying home if you feel ill, can help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Be like Mayor Carl Gerlach and wear your mask!
