Holiday tree recycling locations now open

For an even greener holiday season, drop off your real holiday tree at one of the City’s drop-off recycling locations.

Remove all decorations and equipment, including the tree stand, tinsel, lights, and ornaments.

Leave your tree at one of four designated locations in Overland Park:

Tree will be accepted from 5 a.m.-10 p.m. through January 12.

Your tree will be mulched and used at City parks.

Artificial trees are not accepted. You can dispose of artificial trees and other large items during the City’s annual bulky item pickup.
