City Council to resume meetings via videoconference

For the first time ever, Overland Park’s City Council will meet entirely via virtual meeting on Monday night.

Monday’s 7:30 p.m. City Council meeting agenda includes appointments of mental health task force members, an update to the building code, agreements for engineering services, and more.

City staff and the full City Council will attend the meeting via video conference in order to comply with Johnson County’s stay-at-home order.

Residents and members of the public have several options to view or listen to the meeting:

  • Use Zoom to view and listen. You may be required to download the free Zoom app. Follow the meeting link prior to the meeting to join the call.
  • Listen by phone. Call 1-408-638-0968 or 1-669-900-6833. When prompted, enter the following meeting number: 908370338.
  • Watch live via the City’s agenda and livestreaming system.

There are no public hearing items scheduled on this meeting agenda.

City Council and other governing body and board, commission, and committee meetings during the most of March were canceled or postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
