Halloween activities in Overland Park

October 11, 2018

There are no official trick-or-treating hours in Overland Park, but there are still plenty of ways to celebrate the spooky holiday this year.

Pumpkin Hollow, where children can ride a barrel train, get lost in a corn maze, slide down the hay pyramid, and more, is open until October 31 at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead.

Night of the Living Farm, also at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, turns the Farmstead into not-too-spooky haunt with scavenger hunts, fortune tellers, and marshmallow roasts. There are four nights for this event: October 19 and 20, 26 and 27.

Families can visit Downtown Overland Park for trick-or-treating in stores, live music, and games on the clocktower plaza from 2-4 p.m. on October 27.

The Overland Park Police Department is hosting Trunk or Treat with Police on October 27. Families can enjoy music, dancing, costumes, and of course, candy. Children can meet their police officers.
