A seasoned performer, Casi Joy‘s impressive social media presence eventually led to a highly-touted run on NBC’s The Voice, where she instantly turned all four chairs and was singled out by Rolling Stone as having one of the top 10 blind auditions of all time – a testament to the hard work and dedication of someone who has been performing professionally since the age of five.
Casi Joy will perform at the BrewLab stage at 8 a.m.
The Kansas City Latin Jazz Orchestra was formed to preserve and perpetuate the art forms and traditions of Latin Jazz, Salsa & Afro-Latin dance.
With a 2018 audience reach of nearly 40,000 in the Broader KC region and American Southwest, the Kansas City Latin Jazz Orchestra is an intercultural, intergenerational organization, bringing transnational experiences to the stage, the dance floor, and the heart of the Midwest.
Kansas City Latin Jazz Orchestra will play the BrewLab stage at noon.
Funk Syndicate has been bringing Funk, R&B, Soul and Disco to the Midwest for the past 12 years and going strong. They specialize in providing a completely entertaining and authentic recreation of your favorite R&B and Dance hits from the 60s to present day. Funk Syndicate‘s lead vocalists bring an energy and engagement to their performances that is irresistible to any audience.
Funk Syndicate will play the BrewLab stage at 3 p.m.
Overland Park Farmers’ Market vendors will be selling farm-fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and specialty items under the pavilion starting at 8 a.m.
The parade will feature high school bands, scout groups, local businesses, classic cars, dance troupes and so much more, starting at 10 a.m.
More than 100 artisans from across the midwest will bring clothing, home goods, holiday decor, soaps, toys, gifts, and more to Downtown Overland Park for the day. The craft fair will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Little ones can see roving performers throughout the Fall Festival site all day.
We encourage you to ride the shuttle if you’ll be visiting Downtown Overland Park on Fall Festival day.
Park at Shawnee Mission West High School, 8800 W. 85th Street. A shuttle will run every 15-20 minutes from the school to the InterUrban Art House at 80th and Conser. You can catch the shuttle in the same spot to return to your car.
The shuttle will run from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
There are many spaces available in City lots and along the streets. Some parking lots and streets will be closed the day of the event. Street closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Bring a lawn chair or blankets for seating along the parade route.
Glass containers are not allowed along the parade route or under the Farmers’ Market pavilion.
Leashed, well-behaved dogs are allowed along the parade route, but are not allowed under the Farmers’ Market pavilion during Market hours.
If you’ll be joining us for the parade, we encourage you bring folding chairs or a blanket and arrive early to find a spot along Santa Fe Drive.
