Our greatest resource at the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is the naturally planted woodlands. This 160 acre area is home to forty-seven (47) of the eighty-five (85) species of trees native to the state of Kansas. Jim Earnest will give a one hour PowerPoint presentation, "Native Trees of Kansas” . He will show and discuss many of these great trees, how they flower, how they reproduce, what they do for humans and why are they there? Plan to join us in the EEVC for this presentation.

Ages 18 and up. Limited to 50 participants. Event sponsored by Friends of the Arboretum.
