Cultivating Neighborhoods & the Small Scale Development Movement
Please join us for a public lecture on increasing housing choices through small scale development.
This lecture is part of a larger effort by the City of Overland Park to conduct a preliminary review of its policies that support different housing products. To accomplish this the City has engaged with Incremental Development Alliance to conduct a technical review of the feasibility of small real estate development projects.
About the Lecturer
Matthew Petty is a city planner, real estate developer, and elected official. He has a deep understanding of American zoning and development codes and infrastructure planning processes. He has facilitated numerous public hearings and stakeholder engagement efforts, and his first mixed-
use project as an owner-developer is under construction.
About Our Partner
IncDev Alliance is a not-for-profit alliance of practitioners who train small developers, helping citizens strengthen their own neighborhoods and helping city champions get the kind of development their community wants.
