Description
Following a major disaster, first responders may not be able to meet the demand for fire and medical services. Overland Park’s emergency management division provides Community Emergency Response Team training to give neighbors the ability to help one another and meet immediate lifesaving and life-sustaining needs. Registration is required and space is limited. This accelerated class will be held Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to noon. CERT training begins June 3 and will end June 24, 2025. Students must attend all classes to graduate. Please note that there is a large waiting list for this class.
