Preparation of the 2018-2022 Capital Improvements Program and Maintenance Program represented the first step in development of the 2018 operating budget and Five-Year Financial Plan, as the capital improvements plan, maintenance plan and budget are developed in the context of the City’s five-year expenditure and revenue forecast. These programs were adopted for 2018 budget planning purposes on April 3, 2017.
The Capital Improvements Program (CIP) includes $182.7 million of planned improvements, including $43.9 million of improvements funded in 2018. The Maintenance Program includes $101.6 million of major maintenance improvements, including $24.3 million of improvements funded in 2018.
