Use the cameras to check on road work at 95th Street bridge over U.S. 69 Highway, east of Oak Park Mall. That bridge is slated to have all four lanes open Wednesday of this week.
Work on the 95th Street Bridge is part of $82.3 million widening of U.S. 69 Highway from 75th Street to nearly I-435. That project is set for completion in the summer of 2012.
Construction on Quivira Road, south of 99th Street, is part of a widening project. Currently, utility companies are relocating service lines to facilitate the work. Construction work on Quivira Road will cease in time for Black Friday and the weekend.
Quivira Road will be widened to six lanes from 99th Street to 105th Street beginning in 2012. The city is administering this project.
The interchange at I-435 and Quivira will be rebuilt in 2012 and is administered by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
