Creating a new vision for Metcalf Avenue: The visioning plan will go before the City Council for final acceptance Monday, May 19.
If you build it, they will come: The council has approved a $12.9 million bid for synthetic turf at the Overland Park Soccer Complex, 135th and Switzer. The complex is expected to open Sept. 1, 2009
