The Overland Park Fire Department is having an open house October 6 to kick off our Fire Safety Week.

There will be a variety of activities for children and families to learn about fire safety and about the Overland Park Fire Department.

Smoky the Bear

Don't miss your opportunity to see Smoky the Bear who is stopping by for a special visit.

In addition, other divisions of the Fire Department will be on hand to show equipment used in technical rescue and hazardous material responses. There will also be information on community planning, and preparedness and CPR training. Finally, there will be fire safety movies and mini-safety classes for children and adults as well as snacks for everyone!
